An incredible afternoon as Denis Law scores all six goals as City storm into a 6-2 lead away to Luton Town in the FA Cup. Unfortunately, with 69 minutes on the clock, the torrential rain meant the referee had no option but to abandon the game. Worse still, City lost the re-arranged fixture 3-1 with Law scoring the goal and his incredible feat  in the first game was wiped from the records!

City beat Cardiff City 2-0 in the FA Cup thanks to an improvised Kevin De Bruyne free-kick and a Raheem Sterling goal. Both strikes come in the first half, with De Bruyne passing a low free-kick under the Bluebirds’ wall and Sterling adding a second eight minutes before the break. The home side are reduced to 10 men in added time after Joe Bennett’s awful challenge on Leroy Sane earns a deserved red card.

City cruise in the last 16 of the FA Cup with a 3-0 win away to Crystal Palace. Raheem Sterling scores shortly before the break to put City ahead, with Leroy Sane and Yaya Toure adding further goals in the second-half to leave South London with a comfortable victory.
