Erling Haaland was impressed with City's overall display in the 3-0 Premier League win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The striker stroked us ahead from the penalty spot shortly before the half-hour mark, before doubling the lead shortly after the interval with a superb header.

Haaland then set up Phil Foden to add a deserved third goal against the Red Devils with ten minutes left to play.

The talisman almost had a hat-trick, but his clever chipped effort was expertly saved by goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Our number nine was left impressed with the display. He said:

“Amazing. Fantastic win. The game was incredible today, the whole team and everything.

“I felt it a little bit, pressure for the penalty. I had the pressure and I scored and it was a fantastic feeling.

“It was a nice celebration, for both of them. It was a nice game. 

“It was an incredible save right before the half time. He did another fantastic save in the second half when I chipped it, he saved it with his head.

“It is what it is. We won.”

The Norwegian now has 11 goals and two assist in the Premier League this season, but showed his admiration for teammate Bernardo Silva, who was named Player of the Match after a superb all-round display.

The striker gave Bernardo a big hug after the game and had some nice words to say about the silky midfielder.

“Especially this guy [Bernardo Silva] was impressive today.

“I totally agree [Player of the Match].

“I love you, just like Pep does!”
