CITY STAR
Antoine Semenyo (£8.5m) has been in excellent form this pre-season.
The midfielder registered five assists in three matches against Inter, K League All Stars and Atletico Madrid where he played 176 minutes. Throughout these fixtures Semenyo registered an assist every 35.2 minutes.
His pre-season form is a continuation of an excellent FPL season during 2025/26. During the last campaign, Semenyo’s 17 goals were more than any midfielder and his 23 attacking returns was second for all midfielders.
The Ghana international also registered six Defensive Contribution Points, 18 Bonus Points and 12 clean sheets last season. Four of his Defensive Contribution Points from last season came against Gameweek 1 opponents Bournemouth.
Semenyo looks set to build on a fantastic start to his career at City during his first full season at the Eithad.
ONE TO WATCH
City play Bournemouth in Gameweek 1. Bournemouth’s Evanilson (£6.0m) has three goals and two assists during pre-season.
DIFFERENTIALS
Elsewhere, Mamadou Sangare (£5.5m) and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£6.5m) are low-owned gems who have good potential in Gameweek 1.
Brentford’s new signing Sangare scored in their final pre-season friendly and looks set to register regular Defensive Contribution points this season.
Meanwhile, Everton’s Dewsbury-Hall had a good season in FPL last year and has three assists in pre-season.
