Max Alleyne, Rico Lewis, Stephen Mfuni and Divin Mubama have all been named in the England U21 squad for the upcoming international break.

The City quartet will all be part of Lee Carsley’s squad for three U21 Euro qualifiers, played against Kazakhstan, Slovakia and Republic of Ireland.

Lewis is part of Enzo Maresca’s City squad, playing three games so far this season.

Alleyne and Mubama are on loan with Championship sides Burnley and Stoke respectively, while Mfuni is with Frank Lampard’s Coventry for the season.

There’s further representation from our Academy, with Jamie Gittens and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey also included.

It follows the news earlier in the day that Elliot Anderson, Marc Guéhi and Nico O’Reilly have been called up for the senior side’s UEFA Nations League games against Spain, Czech Republic and Croatia.

We’ll have reports from England’s fixtures during the upcoming international break, as well as every game involving a City player.
