The underlying numbers highlight the playmaker’s recent all-round impact on Man City’s attack.

De Bruyne’s 10 shots on target and 19 chances created were more than any team-mate in the last six matches.

Indeed, both those totals ranked among the top two players in Fantasy over that spell.
