Pep Guardiola and some of his first team squad will be back at the City Football Academy for the first day of pre-season training on Monday 15 July.

Just over five weeks after our final game of last season in the FA Cup final, players will return ahead of the 2024/25 campaign and a challenge for an unprecedented fifth successive English title following last year’s historic four-in-a-row.

Players who have not been away with their national teams this summer will be back in Manchester ahead of the start of our return to the United States.

Those that participated at EURO 2024 or Copa America will report back later with Rodrigo, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Phil Foden, Nathan Ake and Julian Alvarez still involved in respective semi-finals.

City fly to the US later this month for a four-match tour across multiple cities ahead of the new season.

Our first preseason fixture is against Scottish champions Celtic at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill on Tuesday, July 23, with tickets available here.

That is followed by AC Milan at New York’s Yankee Stadium on Saturday, July 27, tickets here.

Next up are Barcelona at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Tuesday, July 30, tickets here.

And the last game of the tour sees City play Premier League rivals Chelsea in Columbus at the Ohio Stadium on Saturday, August 3 with tickets here.

The official Man City app will provide comprehensive coverage of the USA tour, including live matches on CITY+ (subject to certain restrictions), press conferences, training sessions and our Matchday Live show for all fixtures.

Fans across the world should download now to ensure they don’t miss a beat.

Fans in the UK will be able to see all four of City’s matches on this summer’s tour of the United States on and our official app.
