Bernardo Silva has penned a new contract with Manchester City which will see him stay at the Club until the summer of 2026.

Signing from Monaco in the summer of 2017, the Portugal international has been at the heart of Pep Guardiola’s side’s success in six years that have followed. 

Since arriving at the Etihad Stadium, the classy and versatile midfielder has won a staggering five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, two Community Shields and the Champions League.

Across his illustrious 308 appearances in sky blue so far, he’s scored an impressive 55 goals in all competitions, including a sublime brace in our in 4-0 Champions League second leg semi-final victory over Real Madrid en route to our maiden triumph in the competition.  

What’s more, he’s cemented his place a real fan’s favourite thanks to his combative, tenacious and skilful performances for City while he was also named in the 2018/19 and 2021/22 PFA Team of the Year, before earning a spot in the 2022/23 Champions League Team of the Season. 

League and European recognition also translated into Club accolades where he was named City’s 2018/19 Player of the Year before being awarded the 2021/22 Goal of the Season thanks to his exceptional volley against Aston Villa.
