Mel Lawley departs

Manchester City can confirm Mel Lawley has left the Club.

The winger departs, after more than four years at the Academy Stadium, having clocked up 51 appearances, scoring four goals.

The midfielder helped Nick Cushing’s side to two FA Women’s Cups, a Continental Cup and a Champions League semi-final.

During her time at City, she also made her senior England debut.

Everyone at City would like to thank Mel for her contribution and wish her the best of luck for the future.
