Nikita Parris will celebrate a City milestone as she makes her 100th Club appearance against Atletico Madrid.

The forward - the Blues' fourth Centurion after Steph Houghton, Jill Scott and Izzy Christiansen - joined the Blues in January 2016, having enjoyed a successful loan spell from her hometown Club Everton.

Speedy and tricky with passion in abundance, Parris has played a key role as Nick Cushing's side clinched a sensational sweep of domestic trophies: the Super League title, Continental Tyres Cup and FA Cup, in addition to consecutive Champions League semi-finals.

Admired for her dedication, the 24-year-old is a fans' favourite and wrote her name into the history books as the Club's all-time top goalscorer last season with 38 goals in 97 appearances.

She ended the 2017/18 campaign as top scorer with 18, finishing second in the WSL 1’s scoring charts in the process.

Following a whirlwind 18 months, which also heralded her senior England debut, she penned a new deal at the Club in November 2017.

In May 2018, she earned a nomination for the England Women's Player of the Year award.

Everyone at the Club wishes to congratulate Nikita on her 100th appearance.
