West Ham 0-4 City: Capital gains for champions

THREE CHEERS: Leroy Sane makes it 3-0 for City

THREE CHEERS: Leroy Sane makes it 3-0 for City

Manchester City returned to Premier League action in formidable fashion as we stormed to a superb 4-0 win away at West Ham.

Back in action after the international break, Pep Guardiola’s side were in devastating form in the first half against Manuel Pellegrini’s Hammers, netting through David Silva, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane.

And Sane rounded off a wonderful team display by claiming his second and City’s fourth deep in stoppage time

The four-goal salvo also ensured that we extended our superb record at the Hammers’ new ground to four wins from four visits, scoring 17 goals in the process.

Meanwhile victory maintained our two-point lead at the top of the table over Liverpool.
