Writes Jack Bezants: “Manchester City are considering a move for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita if Claudio Bravo departs the club next summer.

“According to AS in Spain, his displays have caught the eye of City and Pep Guardiola.

“The publication says that Guardiola may have to search for a new No 2 next year with current deputy Bravo considering his long-term future.”

Manchester Evening News: City 'join the chase' to sign Athletic Bilbao defender

Writes Daniel Murphy: “Man City are eyeing up a January move for Athletic Bilbao defender Unai Nunez, according to reports.

“The 22-year-old, who has one Spain cap, has been used rarely this season by the Basque club, making just seven appearances, but is still highly rated and played brilliantly in a 0-0 draw with  Real Madrid on Sunday.

“It's claimed that City have 'joined the chase' for Nunez along with Arsenal, Everton and Bayern Munich.”
