Writes Sam Meade: “Manchester City are looking to complete a deal for Cancelo before the transfer window closes.

“His agent Jorge Mendes is in discussions with City’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain.

“The current stumbling block between the two clubs is the fee, reports Gazetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira.

“Cancelo has been told he can leave the Italian club - but they want between €55m - €60m for him.”
