The main headlines elsewhere this morning concern Chelsea with one high profile star linked with a move away and several big names linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Spain star had a mixed campaign last season and it seems he will return to La Liga eventually – when that will be is another question.

101 Goals write: “After a stunning first season in English football, Diego Costa struggled last campaign and rumours of his desire to return to Atletico Madrid have been rife for some time.

“On Friday, Madrid-based newspaper AS confirms that Costa still wants to leave Chelsea and return to Atletico Madrid, but it could turn into a complicated summer for the Brazilian-born Spanish striker.

“Both Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and owner Roman Abramovich have been told that Costa wants to leave the Blues and return to his former club.

“But, Chelsea are not willing to even negotiate with Atletico Madrid until they have secured a replacement.”

Meanwhile, The Express speculate on who new boss Antonio Conte is likely to bring into the club in the coming weeks.

It seems the West London club – quiet so far in the transfer market – are set to splash out big money to transform their squad.

The Express write: “Conte was unveiled at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground yesterday where he revealed his blueprint to success.

“The Italian manager - who led Italy to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 - insisted he would ‘work, work, work’ to bring glory back to Stamford Bridge.

“But Conte, 46, also wants three more signings to join following the acquisition of Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi for £32million from Marseille.

“Conte is keen to bring in three players take make Chelsea into title contenders once again, but who could they be?

‘In the coming days we can buy one, two, three - players,’ he said. ‘Players that can reinforce us for the season, as it will be very tough.’

“Express Sport understands Chelsea are in talks to sign £30m Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante, £50m Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly and £60m Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

“Conte originally wanted Manolas’ team-mate Radja Nainggolan - valued at £36m - at Chelsea, but he is proving difficult to land.

“Axel Witsel, the £30m Zenit Saint Petersburg star, is his third midfield option but Napoli and Everton are also interested.

“And in attack, Napoli’s £65m Gonzalo Higuain and £25m-rated Santos teenager Gabriel Barbosa are on his list, which Morata tops.”
