The transfer window keeps rumbling on and if reports are to be believed, Chelsea are today’s big movers.

The London Evening Standard have reported that former City striker Carlos Tevez has rejected a move to the Stamford Bridge club.

Vaishali Bhardwaj writes: “Carlos Tevez has revealed that new Chelsea coach Antonio Conte tried to persuade him to join the Blues this summer, but the striker turned down the Italian’s offer to continue playing at Boca Juniors.

“Conte is keen to bolster his front line ahead of the new season, and has already signed forward Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.

“Tevez claimed this week he had offers from Chelsea and Napoli, but says he rejected Conte’s advances to continue playing at Boca.

Chelsea are also said to have tabled a £38m bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Sky Sports.

They say: “The 25-year-old Senegal international is wanted by new Blues boss Antonio Conte to strengthen his defensive options, but Napoli are yet to respond to their offer.

“Koulibaly’s agent Bruno Satin confirmed earlier this week that Chelsea want his client, who is also refusing to sign a new deal with the Serie A club.”
