City remain without long-term absentee Benjamin Mendy, who is still recovering from anterior cruciate ligament damage, while John Stones is sidelined with a hamstring injury. David Silva has fully recovered from his slight knock and Pep has confirmed that he is ready to face United.
Manchester United are without Michael Carrick. Eric Bailly is doubtful and Phil Jones and Marouane Fellaini face late fitness tests. Nemanja Matic missed United's Champions League game against CSKA Moscow but is expected to play.
Paul Pogba is suspended.
