The first month of 2020 got off to a record-breaking start for our all-time leading goal scorer, who created two new Premier League records in the course of his stunning hat-trick during our 6-1 win away at Aston Villa.
Kun’s Villa Park treble saw our Argentine maestro become the Premier League’s all-time leading overseas scorer, seeing him overtake Thierry Henry.
And his 12th league hat-trick saw him set a new record for the most Premier League trebles, seeing Sergio overtake the record he jointly held with Alan Shearer.
Not content with that, Aguero then claimed a late brace of goals in our 2-2 home draw against Crystal Palace before capping another stellar month by coming off the bench to net a late winner in our 1-0 victory away to Sheffield United.
The City striker is up against Jack Grealish, Allison, Jordan Henderson, Ayoze Perez, Jack Stephens and Abdoulaye Dououre for the award.
