Gabriel Jesus has now scored 50 goals in all competitions for Manchester City, after he opened the scoring in our 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

The Brazilian brought up his half century in the 39th minute when he met Bernardo Silva’s right-wing cross with a diving header to steer the ball into the far corner for his seventh goal in as many starts.

Jesus reached the 50 mark on his 110th appearance for the Club, meaning he’s scored at a rate of 0.45 goals per game and in that time, he’s also provided 17 assists and he has a remarkable record from games in which he starts.

Our No.9 has been directly involved in 58 goals in the 64 matches he has started in all competitions and he has hit the back of the net 21 times in his last 20 starts for Pep Guardiola's side.

The 22-year-old is the fourth player in the current City squad to hit the half century milestone and is in illustrious company as he follows in the footsteps of Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Raheem Sterling.
