There had been suggestions Aro Muric would start in goal this afternoon after playing all the previous rounds, but Pep Guardiola has opted for experience on this occasion.
Ederson, Walker, Laporte, Otamendi, Zinchenko, Fernandinho, D Silva (c), De Bruyne, Bernardo, Sterling, Aguero
Subs: Muric, Danilo, Gundogan, Kompany, Foden, Sane, Mahrez
With a traditional back four in place, Fernandinho will resume his holding midfield role with David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne ahead of him.
Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva will flank top scorer Sergio Aguero.
Pep Guardiola says Aro Muric and Phil Foden are unfortunate not to be starting today's game.
The Catalan opted for experience over youth for the final and says it was a tough call to make.
“Is Aro unlucky? A lot," said Pep.
"Like Phil Foden, who played all the minutes in the competition, so it’s tough. But the way they play and with what we have to do, Ederson is so important to us.
All the players have pride and want to avoid defeat. But it’s a different competition. It was a great game for us, but this is a final - a different competition. Hopefully we can play a game like a final deserves to be played.
"I am here on behalf of Manchester City, the Club, the players,. To be here is a huge success."

City raced into a 4-0 lead with just 25 minutes gone in the clash at the Etihad and while nobody expects that this afternoon, an early goal may knock Chelsea’s already fragile confidence.
What the Blues don’t need is to concede early and give a Chelsea side looking for revenge a huge fillip.
Sergio Aguero has scored 15 goals in 17 games against Chelsea, including five goals this season – two in the Community Shield and a hat-trick in the recent 6-0 win.
City and Chelsea have met three times before at Wembley – in 1986 in the Full Members Cup final, the FA Cup semi-final in 2013 and this year’s Community Shield clash last August – City have won 2 and lost one.
Chelsea have lost three games at Wembley this season – a 2-0 defeat to City in the Community Shield and Spurs in the Premier League and Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
Chelsea and City haven’t met in the League Cup since 1993/94 – a 1-0 win for the Blues at Maine Road.
City and Chelsea have won the League Cup on five occasions – only Liverpool have won the trophy more (eight).
