Lukas Nmecha joins Wolfsburg on loan

Lukas Nmecha will spend the 2019-20 season on loan with Bundesliga club, Wolfsburg.

The 20-year-old striker, who has spent more than 12 years with City, will look to continue gaining experience in the German top flight after making 44 appearances for Championship side Preston North End during a loan spell last term.

The Hamburg-born centre-forward made his City debut against Leicester in a Carabao Cup quarter-final in 2017.

In total, he has made two first-team appearances for City and has also represented both England and Germany at Under-21 level and was part of the Germany squad for this summer’s European Under-21 Championships.

Everyone at City wishes Lukas the best during his time at Wolfsburg.
