GOAL: De Bruyne's screamer is a nominee for April Goal of the Month

GOAL: De Bruyne's screamer is a nominee for April Goal of the Month

Pep Guardiola has been nominated for the April Premier League Manager of the Month award.

City played four matches last month, winning three and losing one, with Sunday’s 4-1 win at the London Stadium seeing us move beyond the 100-goal mark with three games to spare.

Everton’s Sam Allardyce, Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson, caretaker West Brom boss Darren Moore and Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho have also been shortlisted.

If he wins, it would be the fifth time Pep has landed the prize in what has been an historic season for the Club.

Raheem Sterling has been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

The Blues winger was directly involved in six goals during April – more than any other nominee.

He scored in the wins over Tottenham and Swansea, set up David Silva’s opener against the Welsh side and then produced a hat-trick of assists in Sunday’s win at West Ham.He faces competition from Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen, Everton ‘keeper Jordan Pickford, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, Jake Livermore of West Brom and Wilfried Zaha, who has been central to Crystal Palace’s resurgence.

And Kevin De Bruyne is in line to pick up the Goal of the Month award for his thunderous effort against Swansea.
