Tactics

City will adopt a familiar 4-3-3 formation with Gabriel Jesus making his first start since injuring his knee on New Year’s Eve against Crystal Palace.

It’s almost four months since the Brazil star scored for the Blues and he will look to this evening as a chance to kick-start his season again and add to the 10 goals he already has this campaign.

Aymeric Laporte will have another chance to get minutes under his belt as he settles into life in England and John Stones will make only his second start in 10 games.

Phil Foden will have the opportunity of showcasing his talent this evening against Basel.

The young England star makes his third start for the Blues and will look to further impress Pep Guardiola.

Expect to see the teenager more and more in the final weeks of the season.
