Stat attack: City's remarkable start

ON FIRE: The goals are flying in for City right now
City have played 11 matches in all competitions this season, winning 10 and drawing one.

They have scored a remarkable 37 in those games, a rate of 3.36 per match.

In their eight Premier League matches, they have won seven and sit top of the table, two points clear of Manchester United.

City are the first English top-flight team to score 29 goals in their first eight league games of the season since Everton in 1894-95 (30).

Their 29 goals in eight league games means City are scoring 3.625 per game.

David Silva has assisted six Premier League goals this term, which is more than any other player. Kevin De Bruyne sits joint-second on the list with five.
