Here are our favourite things from across the great and mysterious world wide web this week...
Gab and Ilkay go stateside!
Pep Guardiola’s squad will travel to the US this summer to take part in the ever-growing International Champions Cup, taking in games against Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham along the way.
As part of the tournament’s preparations, Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan have travelled out to the States and used their social media channels to keep us updated with their whereabouts.
They’ve been to see some basketball – with Gabriel bagging himself some replica gear – and met up with some NYCFC stars.
Looks like fun.
Great feet
On Saturday, City’s under-18s drew 2-2 with their Manchester United counterparts here at the CFA.
There was plenty of quality on display – but this moment of magic from Ian Carlo Poveda drew audible gasps from the assembled crowd.

Portrait of an Icon: Brian Clough
Regular readers of Things We Love will have come across Daniel Storey’s series before, but for those of you haven’t, there’s plenty of reading to do if you want to catch up.
Storey has produced a collection of writing that details the life and career of some of football’s most prominent stars. In the latest installment, he looked at the inimitable Brian Clough, a man who achieved nothing short of a miracle as Nottingham Forest boss, leading them from the second tier to the First Division title and, remarkably, two European Cups.
There has been no one quite like Cloughie.
The latest Portrait of an Icon is Brian Clough.

Inside the world of our Vics
Victoria Haydn, our senior Club photographer, is one of the best in the business (in my humble opinion) - and the Premier League took a closer look at what she gets up to.

Ferna off with Brazil
And, finally, Fernandinho has joined up with his Brazilian teammates ahead of their games against Uruguay and Paraguay.
Here he is with Chelsea’s Willian.
