Manchester City’s England contingent will face off against their Belgian counterparts in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup, while the Blues’ Spanish and Portuguese players will do the same.
Eighteen of Pep Guardiola’s squad have been capped by nations who have qualified for next summer’s tournament in Russia and they all now know their first-round opponents after the ceremony at Moscow’s State Kremlin Palace.
Portugal v Spain will be the first involvement any City players have in the tournament, with that game scheduled to take place at 7pm on Friday 15 June.
In Group D, the Argentina of Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi must play Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria as they look secure a place in the last 16.
Belgium and England are the final two teams featuring City players and they’re set for a showdown in Group G when Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne could well go up against Fabian Delph, Raheem Sterling, John Stones and Kyle Walker.
They’ll also play Panama and Tunisia.
Belgium v England is the final group game for both teams and kicks off at 7pm on Thursday 28 June.
