Pep Guardiola makes four changes for Man City’s Premier League trip to Southampton.

Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi, Fernandinho and Kevin De Bruyne return to the starting XI in place of John Stones, Aleks Kolarov, Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph.

Stones, Delph, Bacary SagnaGabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan miss out through injury, while Nolito is rested.

With City likely to adopt a 4-1-4-1 formation, Claudio Bravo will be shielded by a backline of Gael Clichy, Otamendi, captain Kompany and stand-in right-back Jesus Navas.

Fernandinho will be employed in the defensive midfield role, while Yaya Toure will accompany David Silva in the middle. Leroy Sane and De Bruyne will operate on the wings.
