Club statement: Match rescheduled

Following this evening’s postponement, the UEFA Champions League fixture against Borussia Monchengladbach will now be played on Wednesday, 14 September.

The fixture will kick-off at 7.45pm at the Etihad Stadium.

Torrential rainfall across Manchester throughout the evening led to flooding in the areas in and around the stadium, which forced the decision on safety and security grounds.

Previously purchased tickets and hospitality for today’s date will remain valid for tomorrow.

Any supporters with queries, including rain-damaged tickets, should contact the Manchester City Supporter Services on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 3).
