Which City players were involved during the recent international games?

Three of our players were involved in the action in the early hours of Wednesday morning with the 2018 World Cup South American qualifiers continuing.

Fernandinho played the first half for Brazil before being substituted for Hulk as Dunga’s side secured a share of the points with Paraguay after Dani Alves’ last minute equaliser saw the game finish 2-2.

Elsewhere, Bacary Sagna played 90 minutes for France in the 4-2 friendly win against Russia while Aleks Kolarov scored the only goal of the game, a superb free kick, in Serbia’s 1-0 victory away to Estonia.

Completing the round-up, Billy O’Brien appeared for Wales U21s in their 2-1 defeat versus Romania while Sinan Bytyqi and Enes Unal were second half subs for Austria U21s and Turkey U21s respectively.
