Spurs v City EDS: Match preview

The young Blues will be looking to get back to winning ways on Monday afternoon...

City EDS travel to the Enfield Training Centre on Monday for their U21 Premier League clash against Spurs, 1pm kick off (GMT).

Simon Davies' side will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing 1-0 against Everton last week and close the gap on leaders Sunderland.

The game marks the third U21 Premier League match that Davies has been in charge of, having won 3-1 against Southampton prior to the defeat against Toffees.

The young Blues have accumulated 14 points so far this season, losing just three games and a win could move them up to fifth.

Monday's opponents Spurs have played the joint most games this season with 13 played so far and have picked up 18 points from their fixtures and currently lie in 3rd place in the table.

Similar to City, they played last Monday and suffered a one goal defeat. They welcomed Chelsea to the Lamex Stadium and were on the wrong side of a 5-4 score line.

We'll have coverage of the game on our official twitter feed @MCFC and a full match report online shortly after full time on mcfc.co.uk
