City stars Jesus Navas, David Silva and Fernandinho said the Blues fear nobody in their current form.

Navas had a hand in two goals while Fernandinho scored his first goals for the club in the 6-3 win over Arsenal.

Man-of-the-match Fernandinho said: “It was great to finally score for City but the important thing is the team won and we took three points from this game.

“They are a strong team so we are very happy with the result.”

Navas added: “We don’t fear anyone and if we continue to play like this we will keep winning and scoring goals.

We are getting stronger each week and we feel we will soon start to perform much better away from home, too so we are happy at this moment

Compatriot Silva said: “It was a great game. The most important thing is that we won and that we are now closer to the top of table.

“We didn’t expect to score six goals. They are a great team, but we played very well and took our chances. At home we are doing very well.

“I feel good but I'm not 100%. I'm getting better each day and hope I can continue playing like this and keep scoring goals.”
