It caps a wonderful 2017 for the 17-year-old who claimed the Golden Ball award for the tournament's best player at the U17s World Cup in October, scoring twice in the final as England beat Spain 5-2 to lift the coveted trophy.
He also played a key role in England’s run to the final of the UEFA European Under-17 Championships in May.
The Stockport-born midfielder, who has been at City since he was nine, made his Blues debut in November as a second-half substitute in the win over Feyenoord, and then made his full debut against Shakhtar Donetsk two weeks ago, becoming the youngest Englishman to start a game in the Champions League.
