City EDS v West Brom u21s Sunday 22 December, 2pm Manchester Athletics Stadium, M11 3FF
A place in the last eight of the under-21 Premier League Cup is up for grabs when the Baggies come to town on Sunday afternoon.
City EDS also have the added incentive of stretching their winning run at under-21 level to four games in a row.
It will be the second meeting between the teams in a week after City beat the Baggies 2-0 at The Hawthorns last Sunday.
Patrick Vieira’s men reached the last 16 of the u21 Premier League Cup with a 2-0 win over Stoke City in the last round.
It took two extra-time goals to secure the win against the Potters at Nantwich Town FC last month.
City finally opened the scoring in the 97th minute with a goal from Albert Rusnak and they sealed the tie with eight minutes to go, when 16-year-old Angelino netted after his initial volley came back off the post.
West Brom also needed an additional half an hour to progress to the fourth round of the cup.
After grabbing a stoppage-time equaliser against Nottingham Forest, the Baggies netted the winner in extra-time to set up a tie with City's young guns.
