Manchester City Under-18s have been crowned 2024 FA Youth Cup champions following a strong 4-0 win over Leeds at the Etihad Stadium.

Following a closely contested and goalless first half, Justin Oboavwoduo broke the deadlock when bundling home after an industrious run into the box shortly after the interval.

Jayden Heskey then doubled our advantage soon after when he ghosted into the box and coolly slotted home to move Ben Wilkinson‘s side within touching distance of the trophy.

Buoyed by our quick restart after the break, we extended our lead further when Stephen Mfuni showed great anticipation to lose his marker at the back post to head into an empty net.

In the closing stages, Matty Warhurst added the gloss to the result when our prolific goalscorer weaved into the box and drilled into the bottom corner.

It represents our fourth-ever triumph in the competition and the first since the class of 2020 lifted the historic honour.
