Delap and Palmer up for PL2 March Player of the Month Award

Delap and Palmer up for PL2 March Player of the Month Award
City's Elite Development Squad duo Liam Delap and Cole Palmer have both been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month Award for March.

The pair have been at the forefront of another fantastic month for Enzo Maresca’s Young Blues, grabbing hat-tricks against Southampton and West Ham respectively in each of our two wins across the month.

And they will both be vying for a second Player of the Month Award this season, with Palmer picking up October’s gong before Delap followed suit in November.

Their contributions have played a major part in our Young Blues' collective march towards the Premier League 2 title, and they have been recognised for their efforts as part of a six-man shortlist.

The shortlist was chosen by the Premier League Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches picked the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches across the month. The Panel will also select the winner.
