City to resume bid for FA Youth Cup success

GOLDEN SHOT: Liam Delap celebrates after his all-important strike
Manchester City will resume our quest for the FA Youth Cup later this month when the 2019/20 tournament resumes.

After beating Swansea, Aston Villa, Fulham and Burnley, City had progressed through to the semi-finals and a last four meeting with Blackburn in March when the FA Youth Cup was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, it has now been confirmed that the 2019/20 FA Youth Cup will resume with the semi-finals and final all to be played behind closed doors at St. George’s Park, the FA's national football HQ.

City’s youngsters will play Blackburn on Friday, October 30th, kick-off 5pm with Chelsea then playing Manchester United in the other semi-final at 7.45pm.

The respective winners will then meet in the final which is scheduled for Monday, November 2, kick-off 7.30pm.

All three matches will be broadcast live on BT Sport.
