The spectacular Treble Trophy Tour has now concluded, with South Africa the final destination.

Following Manchester City’s incredible success of winning the Big Five of the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, our major honours visited six continents and 23 countries.

The latest and final of those being South Africa where former City forward Shaun Wright-Phillips was in attendance.

Here’s how the tour unfolded…

DAY ONE

Our first stop was Dolphin Beach to capture our five major trophies in front of Table Mountain before meeting up with Cape Town Carnival in the afternoon.

Participants were busy getting ready for the carnival on Saturday, but managed to spare some time to teach Wright-Phillips a dance routine that they performed together on one of their floats.

And to conclude the first day, we attended an event hosted by the British embassy.

Local football NGO, Oasis were there to showcase their football skills and play a game against the British Consul.

Shaun joined in too, taking turns for both sides. Everyone at the event had the opportunity to take their pictures with the trophies before our legend answered questions from the attendees.

DAY TWO

On the second morning we were live on the radio for both Cape Talk Radio for Good Morning Cape Town with Lester Kiewit, and K-FM radio for K-FM Mornings with Darren, Sherlin and Sibs.

We then travelled to the DHL Stadium for a sit-down interview with Wright-Phillips and SuperSport, followed by an interview with Newzroom Afrika.

Wright-Phillips and the trophies then attended a Puma media lunch and then went on to a Studio 88 store visit in the afternoon giving fans opportunity to meet Shaun and also see the FA Cup and Premier League trophies.

DAY THREE

Shaun and City’s trophies spent the whole of day three on a spectacular safari.

We challenged Shaun to try and get our five honours with the big five animals of Africa (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Water Buffalo and Leopard). What below to see how our legend got on.

DAY FOUR

The fourth and final day presented the main event as fans were invited to the Croquet Lawn at the V&A Waterfront.

Supporters queued to take their picture with our trophies and were also given the opportunity to meet Shaun before our legend conducted a Q&A session.

He then played a game of football with children who were having a coaching session with members of the Manchester City coaching staff.

There was also a Puma pop up store at the event as well, meanwhile, more than 2000 fans visited us and queued to have picture with our five trophies.

Thanks for having us, South Africa!
