One of Manchester City’s most famous fans, Gallagher will perform live at the home of the Premier League champions on Wednesday 1 June next year.
The rock star has added a date in Manchester and one in Glasgow to his summer schedule after he sold out two nights at Knebworth Park on the same day tickets went on sale.
He will be supported by The Streets and Goat Girl.
Gallagher is set to release his new album – C’mon You Know – in advance of next summer’s gigs on Friday 27 May.
This announcement sees him return to the Etihad for the first time since Oasis’ infamous stadium tour in 2005, with this series of four performances set to be the biggest of his solo career.
“I'm super proud to announce I’m doing a gig in my hometown of Manchester on 1st June 2022 - home of the champions of English football Manchester City,” said the rock and roll icon.
“Also can't wait to play Glasgow’s famous Hampden Park on 26th June 2022, C'MON YOU KNOW LG x”
Fans who pre-order ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’ here by 3pm on Wednesday 13 October will receive access to a pre-sale for tickets that opens at 9.30am on Thursday 14 October.
