Carex is the UK’s number 1 hand wash brand, and, alongside their parent company PZ Cussons, have strong historical ties to Manchester dating back to 1870.
The partnership with Carex is a great fit for City in the Community as both organisations are committed to improving the health of families and children in Greater Manchester.
Within the City Lifestyles programme, participants learn and practice a range of cookery skills, including hand hygiene, which is a vitally important part of this process.
Mike Green, Head of City in the Community, said “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Carex to develop our City Lifestyles programme.
“City in the Community is dedicated to encouraging participants to make healthier choices, through a fun and practical approach to learning.
“Working alongside Carex we can integrate their expertise into the programme and continue to support the health and wellbeing of local young people and families.’’
This year the City Lifestyles programme will be delivered in primary schools across Greater Manchester, if you would like to find out more about the programme please contact [email protected]
