Simon Davies has joined Vincent Kompany's coaching staff at Anderlecht.
City's former Head of Academy Coaching makes the move to Belgium to work alongside Pär Zetterberg, Karim Belhocine, Jonas De Roeck, Floribert Ngalula and goalkeeper coach Max de Jong in a bid to help Kompany to implement his football vision.
Davies spent nine years at City as part of the coaching staff and was named the Club's Head of Academy, having previously succeeded as Elite Development Squad coach from Patrick Vieira.
Upon joining Anderlecht, he said: “When Vinny asked me to make the move with him to RSC Anderlecht, I didn’t doubt.
"We are starting a beautiful project: taking RSC Anderlecht back to the place where they belong, with special emphasis on the development of talented young players.”
Everyone at the Club would like to thank Simon for his contribution and wish him well for the future.
