A lifelong Blue, Manchester City was the obvious choice when Billy Robinson was looking for a memorable event to help build relationships with existing customers of Capricorn Security.
Hearing the roar of the Kippax and seeing Alex Williams on his Maine Road debut in 1983 started Billy’s love affair with City.
For the past five seasons he’s shared the MCFC experience with his customers, utilising a number of our hospitality packages to positively affect his business relationships.
He explained: “All our new work was coming via referrals and recommendations from industry friends so I started using hospitality in a bid to get to know our current customers better and further cement the relationships we already had.
“We have continued with this strategy as it has had an overwhelming effect on the strength and quality of the relationships we have with our clients and each year we have been justified in increasing the number of events at MCFC.”
Billy and his customers have enjoyed excellent experiences in both the Legends and Citizens restaurants, while once a year he books the Chairman’s Club for what he describes as “a truly amazing day”.
He added: “For me, it’s as simple as ringing the Manchester City Hospitality team, talking through the package that will suit my guests then the team take care of organising everything else. It’s as easy as that.
“From the minute we arrive at the Etihad we feel special and from day one the staff and facilities have been second to none. The service is always exceptional, which allows me to relax and focus on entertaining our clients.
“The feedback we get from our customers and industry friends is just fantastic and there is always a great deal of excitement in the run up to games.”
