What happened...

Lorenzo Gonzalez scored a brace as Manchester City extended their unbeaten run in the U18 Premier League with a 2-0 victory at West Brom.

16-year-old Gonzalez, who spoke recently of his joy at joining a club like City, made the most of his chance by making the difference in this clash at West Brom's training ground.

The Swiss striker opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a sweet finish after Manchester City had dominated the opening exchanges.

He added a second shortly into the second half as City continued their domination over their Baggies counterparts.

Lee Carsley's team saw out the match comfortably and will now prepare for a trip to Manchester United next Saturday.
