Boy blues bounce back with win

Kieran Kennedy

City’s under 18s recovered extremely well from last week’s numbing derby defeat to beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0 in their latest outing.

Watched by amongst others CEO Garry Cook, a goal from Kieran Kennedy (pictured aboove) a quarter of an hour from the end of hard-fought contest was enough to win the day.

Although the boy Blues did enough in open play to merit the victory it was a set-piece from Brad Robinson that produced the winning strike for KK.

The under 16s were also in action and drew 1-1.
