CoachingHub Terms of Use
COACHINGHUB TERMS OF USE
Any reference to “we”, “our”, “us” or “Man City” in these Terms of Use is to Manchester City Football Club Limited (a company registered in England and Wales with company number 00040946).
About CoachingHub
CoachingHub is a subscription service made available by Man City, which allows members to access a range of on-demand educational content for football coaching (“Content”).
The use of CoachingHub is governed by these Terms of Use. By accessing the Content you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use which form a legal agreement between us and you. Your use of CoachingHub shall be deemed acceptance of these Terms of Use; we therefore recommend you read them carefully before subscribing to ensure you understand them.
These Terms of Use apply in addition to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and the Cityzens Membership Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency regarding use of CoachingHub, these Terms of Use shall take precedence.
CoachingHub membership
CoachingHub is for persons aged 18 years and over.
In order to access CoachingHub, you will need a “Cityzens” account. If you do not already have a “Cityzens” account, you can register at https://cityzens.mancity.com/. Suspension or cancellation of your “Cityzens” account by you or us for any reason will result in you being unable to access CoachingHub.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and we will only use your data in accordance with our privacy policy, which we encourage you to read at https://www.mancity.com/privacy-policy before you provide us with any personal data.
Your CoachingHub subscription
The subscription service on offer will be an annual subscription service (“Subscription Term”). Your subscription to CoachingHub will continue until terminated by us or cancelled by you (please see the Auto-Renewal and Cancellation sections below).
When you sign up for a subscription, you will be charged a subscription fee. The fee will be as quoted on our website from time to time and includes VAT.
We use a third-party payment provider called Stripe to collect payment on our behalf. Stripe will ask you for the information they need to collect and process the payment from you as part of the sign-up process.
If any payment is unsuccessful, your CoachingHub subscription will be void and you will not have access to CoachingHub. Upon an unsuccessful payment, we (or Stripe on our behalf) will attempt to process the payment two more times. If the payment is successful upon either of these further attempts your subscription will be re-activated from the date of the successful payment. However, if both attempts to process your payment fail, we will suspend your subscription to CoachingHub until payment in full is received.
Your non-termination or continued use of the Content reaffirms that we are authorized to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable fees on any auto-renewal.
We may change the price of the CoachingHub subscription from time to time; however, you will be given at least 30 days’ notice of any price changes. If you do not agree to any such price change, please cancel your subscription to CoachingHub before the end of your then Subscription Term.
If we offer any additional promotions or special offers at any time in relation to CoachingHub, these Terms of Use shall be deemed amended to incorporate the Terms and Conditions of that special offer or promotion.
Promotional Offers
Any promotional offer is made available in connection with the subscription to CoachingHub and shall provide access to CoachingHub:
- at the initial introductory price advertised on our website; and
- for the period set out on our website, beginning the moment that you confirm your acceptance of the promotional offer advertised by submitting valid payment details that are accepted by us (the “Promotional Period“).
At the end of the Promotional Period, your subscription will auto-renew for another year at the fees advertised unless you cancel before the end of the Subscription Term (please see the Cancellation section on how to cancel below).
By submitting your payment details, you (i) confirm your acceptance of the advertised offer; and (ii) accept and agree to these Terms of Use.
In order to be eligible for a promotional offer:
- you must not have subscribed to, or accepted a trial of, CoachingHub at any time previously;
- you must accept the offer before the applicable offer deadline advertised;
- you may only accept a promotional offer once and may not redeem an offer again;
- you are only permitted to register one account to take advantage of any introductory offer. We reserve the right to deactivate your “Cityzens” account if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have registered multiple accounts; and
- you must use a valid and current payment method that is approved by our third party payment processor, Stripe.
Promotional offer eligibility is determined by Man City at its sole discretion and we reserve the right to revoke a promotional offer and put your account on hold in the event that we determine you are not eligible. We may use information such as device ID, method of payment or an account email address used with an existing or recent CoachingHub subscription to determine eligibility.
Auto-Renewal
Your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of each Subscription Term and the payment method you used to purchase the subscription will be charged for the next Subscription Term until the subscription is cancelled (please see the Cancellation section below for further details on how to cancel your subscription).
If you wish to cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription for the following Subscription Term, you must cancel your plan through your account page at least one (1) day prior to the end of your then-current Subscription Term.
Cancellation
You acknowledge that we start provision of the digital content immediately following acceptance of your order (which, by placing your order, you request us to do) and so by purchasing a subscription for CoachingHub and accessing any Content, you have agreed to the loss of your statutory “cooling off period” (the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund without giving any reason for up to 14 days from the date of purchase). Your statutory “cooling off period” will apply if you do not access any Content.
You can cancel your subscription for CoachingHub by visiting www.mancity.com/subscriptions. Please note, you will not be able to cancel your subscription within the CoachingHub mobile application.
Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial membership periods or unused Content. If you cancel your membership, your account will automatically close at the end of your current Subscription Term.

You acknowledge and agree that your use of CoachingHub is for non-commercial, personal development purposes only and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you agree not to: (i) use CoachingHub or any Content for any marketing or other commercial reasons; or (ii) broadcast CoachingHub or any Content in any public-facing context (e.g., in any coaching sessions that you run or participate in).

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in connection with your use of CoachingHub. You also agree to follow any additional reasonable instructions or requirements we make in relation to how you use CoachingHub, providing they do not conflict with any applicable laws, rules and regulations.
We may terminate or restrict your use of CoachingHub if you violate these Terms of Use or are engaged in illegal or fraudulent use of CoachingHub.
Access and updates
In order to keep CoachingHub up to date, we may from time to time run automatic updates or offer manual updates.
This may mean that we stop supporting certain devices and/or operating systems. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a compatible device to access CoachingHub.
We reserve the right to change: (i) the presentation, features, functionality and/or Content of CoachingHub; (ii) any third party that we engage to provide any aspect of the service to you; and (iii) the way in which we provide access to CoachingHub, provided we shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that any such change shall not adversely impact you and/or the continued provision of CoachingHub to you in a material way.
Device manufacturers also make updates to their devices which we have no control over. Updates made by device manufacturers may not always be compatible with CoachingHub and it is possible that certain Content may not be accessible to you following these updates.

Except for the foregoing, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you.
Suspension and termination
We shall be entitled to suspend or terminate your access to CoachingHub immediately at any time by contacting you if you have breached any of these Terms of Use.
We shall also be entitled to terminate your access to CoachingHub at any time, giving you as much notice as possible: i) should we be forced to for technical or operational reasons beyond our control; or ii) if we decide, at our discretion, to stop providing CoachingHub subscriptions.
If we decide to terminate in these circumstances, we shall refund the pro-rata proportion of any fee that you have paid for access you have not received.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have and maintain all necessary hardware and software to access CoachingHub. You will also need access to the internet to access the Content.
You acknowledge that the quality of the display of the Content may vary between devices, and may be affected by a variety of factors, such as your location, the bandwidth available and/or speed of your internet connection. HD, Ultra HD and HDR availability is subject to your internet service and device capabilities. Not all Content is available in all formats, such as HD, Ultra HD and HDR, and not all devices allow you to receive Content in all formats.
You will be responsible for paying all charges from your broadband provider. We recommend you check with your internet provider for information on possible internet data usage charges prior to using CoachingHub.
You acknowledge the streaming software used to deliver Content may require third party software and that you will be subject to the terms and conditions and/or licences of said software when accessing CoachingHub.
Third party claims
If your misuse of CoachingHub causes any third party to bring a claim against us, you will be legally responsible for reimbursing us for any losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with that claim.
Our liability to you
You agree that your use of CoachingHub is at your own risk. The Content has not been specifically tailored to your requirements and we are not in a position to individually assess the suitability of any particular Content (or CoachingHub as a whole) for your particular needs. We are also not in a position to assess the environment you are using CoachingHub in or any equipment you may use. You should therefore use your discretion to ensure that you use CoachingHub and the Content in a responsible way and do not do anything which may put yourself or any other person at risk.
If you have any concerns at all about your health or physical condition you should consult an appropriate medical expert (for example, your GP or specialist) before commencing or continuing use of CoachingHub.
We do not represent or warrant that access to CoachingHub will be uninterrupted or that there will be no failures, errors or loss of transmitted information. We do not guarantee that CoachingHub will be secure or free from bugs or viruses or that you will be able to access or use CoachingHub at times or locations of your choosing, or that there will be adequate capacity for CoachingHub as a whole or in any specific geographic area.
We do not guarantee that using CoachingHub will give you any particular results, including that you will develop any particular level of skill or competence. Without limiting the generality of this, CoachingHub is not designed to enable users to become professional coaches or to enable users to obtain or maintain any particular type of certification, accreditation or role. You must not rely solely upon CoachingHub to develop or maintain skills required for a professional coaching role, nor should you make any decisions which may affect you professionally or financially (including applying for or leaving particular roles) in reliance upon your use of CoachingHub.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, neither we nor any of our directors, employees, affiliates or other representatives will be liable for any loss or damages (however that loss or damage was caused, including whether it was caused by negligence or otherwise) (i) of a kind that we could not reasonably have foreseen, (ii) relating to your reliance on CoachingHub or its Content in connection with a professional role, (iii) resulting from you failing to comply with these Terms of Use, or (iv) making use of the services in a way or for a purpose other than that which was intended or agreed.
If our delivery of CoachingHub is prevented or delayed in a material way by an event outside our control, we will not be liable to you, providing we contact you as soon as possible to let you know, and take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. If there has been a material delay in access, you may contact us to obtain a pro-rata refund of any payments.
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for breach of your legal rights in relation to CoachingHub.
