Discounted tickets for local RESIDENTS
Manchester City is proud to introduce the Local Resident Tickets scheme, giving eligible local residents the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for home matches at the Etihad Stadium.
Thousands of discounted tickets will be made available throughout the 2026/27 season for Premier League fixtures, with selected domestic and European cup matches also included. There will be between 100 and 500 reserved tickets available for each match, allocated via a random ballot.
Tickets are priced at:
- Adults: £10
- Under 18s: £5
- Concessions: £7.50
No Matchday Membership is required to apply – you simply need a free Cityzens account and an eligible address.
wHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Local residents living in one of the following Manchester City Council wards, which immediately surround the Etihad Campus, are eligible to apply:
- Ancoats & Beswick
- Ardwick
- Clayton & Openshaw
- Gorton & Abbey Hey
- Miles Platting & Newton Heath
Before you can enter ticket ballots, you’ll need to complete a quick registration process so we can verify that your address is within the eligible area. In most cases this can be completed online in just a few minutes.
HOW IT WORKS
- Create a free Cityzens account, if you don’t already have one. You’ll also need a Cityzens account for each Under 18 you wish to attend matches with, which needs to first be linked through your Friends & Family.
- Complete the quick address confirmation. We’ll use a registered payment card to confirm your address quickly and securely. No payment will be taken. You’ll need the supporter numbers for everyone you wish to include in your ballot entries.
- Once your address has been confirmed, you’ll be able to enter ballots for eligible home fixtures. This page will be updated throughout the season with ballot opening dates and entry links.
- If you’re successful in the ballot, your tickets will be allocated automatically and payment will be taken using your selected payment method.
