FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Pep Guardiola’s City side will take on the world’s best teams in this new iteration of FIFA’s global club competition. 

City’s success in the 2022/23 Champions League earned us our place in this tournament, which will be held in the USA between 14 June and 13 July 2025.

We will face Wydad AC, Al Ain FC and Juventus in the group stages in June. A top two finish would see us into the knockout stages.

With 32 teams from all across the globe, it’s set to be a month-long festival of football!

Tournament format 

The format will follow the model of recent FIFA World Cup for international sides, with 32 teams split into eight groups of four.

The top two teams in each group will progress to a Round of 16 where single-match knockout ties will be played all the way to the final.

Should the knockout matches be tied, extra time and penalties will be used to decide who advances to the next stage. There will be no third-place play off played.
