Starting in March 2026, Melitta Professional has been the official coffee and coffee machine supplier at the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City, helping to shape the coffee experience on and off the games. Across the stadium, 25 coffee machines, predominantly Melitta® Cafina® XT6, are in use, complemented by 9 M608-21 filter coffee machines and 65 Melitta® Barista T-Smart® machines in the hospitality boxes. This balanced mix of fully automatic and filter systems is designed for both performance and reliability. Even at peak times, such as the rush shortly before kick-off or the surge of orders during half-time, the setup is designed to maintain service levels during busy matchday periods. This ensures that fans, guests, partners and staff are served efficiently, supporting a seamless matchday flow and a consistently premium taste experience in every area of the stadium. The men’s dressing rooms at the Etihad have also been equipped with a Cafina® Life 2 Group, again backed by barista training. This ensures that, behind the scenes, the first team can enjoy barista-quality coffee tailored to their preferences, a small but valuable element in creating a professional, feel-good atmosphere for players and staff alike.
The partnership extends into key performance areas of the club. In the Women’s First Team building, a Cafina® Life 2 Group and an additional Melitta® Cafina® XT6 are in operation, supported by barista training for staff and players. Here, coffee becomes part of the daily routine and a moment of quality in a high-performance environment.
At the heart of the coffee offer is Caffè Corsini Riserva Silvano Bio, complemented by Gastronomy Cacao.
