Under 25’s Representative

Sam Roberts-Newton

Supporting City has always been in my blood; my whole family, especially my dad and grandad, are lifelong Blues, so it was inevitable that I would follow in their footsteps. From the moment I was born, I was surrounded by City shirts, and the club quickly became a significant part of my life. I’ve been attending games for as long as I can remember, have had a season ticket for 15 years, and have travelled home and away across the country and Europe. I’ve been fortunate enough to witness some of the club’s greatest moments, from beating United at Wembley in 2011 to my all-time favourite: seeing us crowned Champions of Europe in Istanbul.

As a lifelong City fan and regular matchgoer, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what matters most to supporters. I have just completed my studies in Sports Management at Loughborough University, which has helped me build communication and organisational skills. I’ve thrived in various team environments, always bringing energy, passion, and a collaborative mindset. I’ve also worked with people from a wide variety of age groups and backgrounds, which I believe is essential when representing a diverse fanbase.

Being part of the U25 demographic, I understand what matters to this generation—affordable tickets, inclusive spaces, a vibrant atmosphere, and engaging digital content. I’ll listen to younger fans and make sure their voices are heard.
