Georgi Kinkladze said in 1997, that “the fans are unbelievable at this Club and I owe them so much.” The sentiment echoes the main reason why I wish to be the Under 25 representative. For the best part of two decades, since I was a small child, I have followed this Club across the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, as well as to some of Europe’s furthest reaches. Whilst the actual football has produced varying success, the people that have accompanied me on this journey have provided me with memories to last a lifetime and a sense of belonging whilst I grew up. City Matters represents to me an opportunity to pay thanks to those fellow supporters by representing their interests, but also an opportunity to ensure that those great moments that defined my youth are replicated for my fellow, Manchester City fans. My experience over that time - 15 years as a Seasoncard holder - fills me with the confidence that I possess the insight and knowledge to be able to accurately reflect the views of supporters under the age of 25.

I am a City fan from Stockport who first became a Seasoncard holder at the age of 12 and have been following the Club, home and away, ever since. Having met many City fans of a similar age during my years following the blues, I feel that I am well-positioned to relay the general thoughts and viewpoints of the Under 25s age group. It would be a privilege to work alongside the Club I love, to make a positive impact for City fans.
