David Djordjevic

I became a City fan because of my dad, (there was no choice involved). He began following the blues in 1948. He took me to my first game in 1969, when I was two years old, and by the age of four, I was travelling with him to every Saturday home match; a bus and two trains followed by either a walk to Maine Road or a bus from Aytoun Street. I got my first season ticket in 1976 and began regularly attending away games from 1980/81, with my first season completing every match home and away being 1983/84. Since then, I’ve followed City to over 100 stadiums, in a number of countries and a few different continents.

I’m also co‑founder of “Blues in Business”, a City fans’ networking group with strong links to the “Once a Blue” former players association and a long history of raising significant funds for charitable causes. I will represent Season Ticket holders by listening first and truly understanding your concerns, hopes, experiences and frustrations as supporters who commit your time, money and hearts to following City. Having been a season ticket holder myself for decades, I know what it means to build your life around matchdays, and I’ll make sure those voices are heard clearly and respectfully by the club. My aim is simple: to stand up for you, the season ticket holders who are the heartbeat of Manchester City.
