The how did you start supporting City was never up for debate, coming from a family of lifelong city fans the club has always played a key part of my everyday life. I think once you are held up to Maine Road at birth through the hospital window there is never really another option. I would love to know what my first city game was at Maine Road but unfortunately I have no idea due to how young I was, I have however held my season ticket since 2003 with the move into the Etihad. I attend all home games and have not missed one in around 15 years, whilst I attend the majority of away games as well.
During the last 10 years I have been involved in the 1894 group, initially starting with helping on various displays before also becoming involved in the leadership part of the group. This role has meant I have had experience of working alongside the likes of the Football Supporters Association and Football Supporters Europe on various matters.
I hope to champion supporters and help make your viewpoints heard. My role specifically will have a keen interest in the atmospheric side of topics that are raised throughout my time in the position. I believe my involvement in City Matters being an 1894 group member means that I can look to utilise our members to gain incisive opinions on the subjects at hand.
