HOWARD COHEN

I was born and raised in Manchester and come from a family of Blues, dating back multiple generations. I have been a season ticket holder since the age of 6, following the Blues through thick and thin. I spent 10 years living in Hungary and kept my season-ticket, travelling over regularly. I was born with a degenerative neuromuscular disability, and now have a wheelchair season ticket in 309. I met my late fiancée, Sarah-Liza, through following City, who passed away tragically in 2023. Being a City fan is a way of life, not just a pastime.

I have been the Chair of City’s Disabled Supporters Association since the DSA was relaunched in early 2023. I have sat on the Premier League Disability Advisory Group and the UEFA competitions group of English DSAs, and have worked with outside bodies, such as Level Playing Field and AccessiBall, attending meetings and lobbying for changes and improvements. I have been a trustee of four charities and have extensive media experience, as a former radio presenter and journalist. I have been a political campaigner since the age of 14 and have stood for parliament once and for local councils many times.
