Goals from Laia Aleixandri and Rebecca Knaak saw City take a two-goal lead at Old Trafford, but Grace Clinton and Melvine Malard efforts ensured a share of the spoils.
It means City will finish fourth in the Barclays Women’s Super League this season, but will aim to finish with three points against Crystal Palace this weekend.
